Preferred Course Materials:

·         DSLR camera with detachable lens

·         Standard lens (e.g. 18-55 mm, 18-200 mm or similar)

·         Off-camera external flash unit with sync cord

·         Tripod

·         Strong flashlight

This is not a KLETC class.

Topeka Police Department is hosting Basic CSI from October 12-16th, 2020.  Training will be from 0800-1700 hours with 1 day from 1130-2130 hours.  This course is designed for police officers, detectives, and investigators who are tasked with documenting crime scenes as well as collecting, processing and preserving items of evidence.  This course is mixture of lectures and practical exercises. 

The course is $650 per person payable by card, check or cash.    Due to COVID, no payments for the course will be accepted until the start of the course.  Any question please contact Optimum Forensics directly.

Class size may be limited; early registration is suggested. Casual attire is recommended.
